LIFE INTERRUPTED Retreat 2012: Day 3

How Jesus went 40 days like this is beyond me.

It’s all in the mind, it’s all in the mind, it’s all in the mind…

Last Session:

“Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Who am I that You are mindful of me, that You care for me? That You put everything under my feet? That You call me You-nique?

“Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.”

“And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless.”

“Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.”

“What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to Him?”

The last 3 days were physically draining but spiritually rewarding. Can’t wait to go home :3

Thinking of: How if the walls could speak they’d say the grace of God has kept me alive.
