TechSavvy: Burning a DVD (Mac Users)

For those of you out there who want to burn your .mov or .mp4 into a DVD that can be played in a regular DVD player, I’ve found these websites to be helpful:

1) mi DVD (How-To video here.)

2) DVDSTyler (How-To video here.)

Just install it, transfer your movie into the program and burn.

Some problems I encountered:

  1. If it says that there’s an error because the image cannot be found and your disc failed to burn, remove the audio.
  2. Make sure the settings is for SuperDrive if your DVD is Super Drive. If not it will not burn.
  3. If it does burn and it’s cut off on your TV, change your TV viewing adjustments.

These websites are more for personal use because there are limitations in terms of Menu creation, but you can always Google for more free programs.

If you’re looking for a more professional feel, pony up the dough and get VSO or something.

For any questions regarding burning using these 2 programs, feel free to leave a message here.

Side question: God, why did you make pigs so cute?

Thinking of: Sunshine-y days.
