Fulcrum of Resistance

Fulcrum. A point of support on which a lever pivots.

Pivot: A change in strategy without a change in vision

Who is your fulcrum?

Who directs you to the right path when you’re twisting off-course?

Who watches over you?

The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.

Psalms 32:8

Lord, I need Your guidance and advise.

There are no words to describe the feeling of walking into the parking lot and finding your car gone. Neither are there words to describe the peace and assurance that even then, Jesus is with you and He is watching over you. And there are no words to describe messing that peace up by making bad decisions, hurting the very person who came out of his way to help. Only the feeling of remorse and the question of maturity.

I don’t want to be the kind of person that makes mistakes. But more than that, I don’t want to be the kind of person who is apathetic when I do.

Note to self: Sumi, press on.

Thinking of: Two steps forward one step back, Reverend Kong Hee, point of desperation, the asinine decisions I make when I don’t think straight and how sorry I am those things don’t come naturally.
