Business 101: Working

So it turns out a large part of having your own company includes actual working.

It’s almost a year since I started GREENSCREEN and frankly, I have moved at a snail’s pace.

I have come to the conclusion that laziness, over-sleeping, over-eating, over-socializing, procrastination and watching re-runs of the Big Bang Theory, Pretty Little Liars, Sister Sister and That’s So Raven are in fact, NOT the keys to success.

We’re going to try a little discipline this time around. Working by myself, I don’t have anyone to be accountable to, and that has been damaging to my progress. Thus. I shall attempt to make a change.

Change #1: Make a list of things to do the day before

Change #2: Start work at 9AM instead of usual 4PM. While I’m at it, Wake up at 6AM instead of 1PM.

Change #3: Stop eating. Eat healthier

Change #4: Keep socializing to AFTER work is done, preferably on weeknights and weekdays.

Change #5: Keep a monthly vision board

Change #6: Watch max 8 hours of shows. Watch shows only after running errands. Get off Facebook. Get off Youtube. Disconnect internet.

You lazy fool, look at an ant.
Watch it closely; let it teach you a thing or two.
Nobody has to tell it what to do.
    All summer it stores up food;
    at harvest it stockpiles provisions.
So how long are you going to laze around doing nothing?
How long before you get out of bed?
A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there,
sit back, take it easy—do you know what comes next?
Just this: You can look forward to a dirt-poor life,
    poverty your permanent houseguest!

Proverbs 6:6-11

O_O Dear Lord, help me.

Side Note: Not cool Westboro. Not cool.
