It is in our power to make the right decision.
Doing the right thing is simple; not necessarily easy.
But it has to be done.
Bad decisions are like cancer. Big or small they will multiply to serve nothing but a quick death on your plate.
For someone in a place of leadership, the entire hierarchy gets sucked in and its effects always outlast the leader.
When King David committed adultery and murder, the ripples far outlasted his own life and poisoned his influence, kingdom and his children’s lives.
The devil doesn’t come except to steal, kill and destroy, why give him a foothold through bad choices?
Influence is a gift from God. Let’s face it, not everybody wants to hear what I have to say.
In order for my words to have weight, my life must reflect what I believe.
I want to be a good leader. The price I choose to pay to have you trust that I genuinely care about you, is that I will always do what is right, even when it’s hard.
I am not your enemy, I am just doing what is right.
Note to self: Think before you act. Every action must serve a purpose that leaves others better off.
On a side note: T.D. Jakes has finally answered my “Why didn’t You tell me earlier, God?” questions. Your banner over me is love 🙂
Thinking of: Your sake, Jason Derulo’s The Other Side, Justin Timberlake’s TKO, latest HIMYM episodes and pushing for another day.
