Last Sunday at the HGC Blood Drive was really exciting.
Finally my first time donating blood, I couldn’t contain myself.
Step 1: Get approved
Yeah… I didn’t make it past the first counter.
I was shamelessly rejected as an applicant because of my low blood count.
Bottom line: 12.5
My count: 12.1
Apparently throwing a fit doesn’t change their minds either. Oh well, there’s always next year. Time to stock up on iron.
On another note: Don Moen live in KL. Now this is my kinda concert.
I will tell my heart to burn with fire, for no one else but You.
Even in my darkest hour, when it’s hardest for me to pray, I only have to look back and remember, You were mindful of someone like me and You loved me when no one else even knew I was being formed. There’s a reason behind the fog, though I don’t see Your hands, I will trust in Your heart.
On a more painful side note: Had a very Black Swan moment in the morning. Showering brought tears to my eyes.
Thinking of: My amazing brother, Lenny LeBlanc’s Whiter Than Snow, Don Moen’s You Will Be My Song, the Great Gatsby and all these links about waiting turning up on my Facebook feed.
