For King and Country

<7 hours of collective sleep over last week taught me never to waste time or procrastinate ever again.

Time is no respecter of gender, wealth, status, race or religion.

As A.W. Tozer famously said, “Time is a resource that is non-renewable and non-transferable. You cannot store it, slow it up, hold it up, divide it up or give it up. You can’t hoard it up or save it for a rainy day—when it’s lost it is unrecoverable. When you kill time, remember that it has no resurrection.”

Jesus has first claim on my time.

Is what I would like to say, but I don’t feel hypocritical tonight so I’ll tell the truth; I have given my time to many things that neither benefit me nor others. It’s time to be wise and prioritize. For my King and country.

On a side note: It’s days like today that remind me why I quit a secure job for one that pays inconsistently and continuously challenges my discipline.

Looking at them, I finally get what they say. Two, is better than one.

I look at Chris and Audrey and I’m so humbled to finally know a couple that doesn’t display their relationship for the cheap thrill of public approval alone but have worked tirelessly to build a relationship that lasts.

Chris+Audrey, you have beaten the status quo of relationships. You’re an inspiration of how really amazing it is to be loved for who you are.

Dear Jesus, thank You for an amazing work life, help me make the best of it.

Thinking of: Pondering the path of my feet.
