Yes, I got to be a part of Urban Dance Camp 2016 and, well, it was a mind-blowing two weeks. I’ve been watching those yellow walls through Youtube for years and to finally stand in front of it, was too surreal. Bref, fantastique!

But what was even better was to get to meet my dance role models face to face, to learn from them, be trained by them and loved by them. I mean, these are the guys I follow on Insta and YouTube and Twitter andย amย inspired by their choreography and I do covers of them. And I, little ol’ nobody me, I get to eat breakfast with them and just soak in their advice.

Dance lessons can be life lessons too, so I’m going to share one thing I learned from these legends.

Each one of the teachers brought something extraordinary to the table and gave so much of themselves so that their legacy can be passed on through their students.

I met people from all ages, races, backgrounds, beliefs and status and the one thing we ALL have in common is this; we want to LOVE others with our passion.

One more tick off the bucket list!
