She is making me hate Christianity. Why can’t she respect my stand? Does your religion teach you to bully and shove your beliefs down someone’s throat?
This can be uncomfortably hard to swallow. Christians, in their attempt to share the good news, do very often make mistakes and end up pushing people away from Christ instead of towards Him.
The excuse is that souls are on the line. Tomorrow before God, you will know we did all we could so you would not be lost for eternity.
A woman who has lost something valuable will turn her whole house upside down in chaos to look for it. Trust me, I’ve lost my car keys and diamond ring just in the last month.
Many religious people in desperation to prove a point have turned to chaos as a resort to do what they think is right.
I won’t debate on the right way or the wrong way of sharing Christ; what is overboard, what is not enough or what is just right. I am not Goldilocks. But I do know this, the sheep safe in the pen and the sheep stuck in a thicket in the wilderness are equally stupid. It is the shepherd we look to.
It is not the mistakes of the sheep but the heart of the shepherd that is important.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.
